Renew your registration

You must renew your inbound tour operator registration before it expires.

We'll send you a renewal form 1 month before the expiry date. If you don't receive it, contact us for a new one.

How to renew

You must lodge your renewal form before your registration expires.

Fees apply.

You can submit your form:

  • in person at an OFT contact centre
  • by post to:
    • Industry Licensing Unit
      Office of Fair Trading
      GPO Box 3111
      BRISBANE  QLD  4001.

Processing time

The normal processing time is 4 to 6 weeks.

Continuing to work

If we've received your renewal form before your registration expires, you can keep working while we process your renewal.

During this time, you must be able to produce:

  • your expired certificate
  • a receipt from us for your renewal fee (please contact us to ask for one).

Expired registrations

You can't restore your registration after it has expired. You'll need to re-apply.

Appealing our decision

If we refuse your renewal and you disagree with our decision, you have 28 days to appeal the decision to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Review Tribunal.
